EMF Camp – Geocaching 101

Want to get started with Geocaching?

We’ve setup some temporary caches around the EMF site which you can try to find over the course of the festival.

*Disclaimer*

All geocaches have been placed within the confines of the EMF camp site, you will not need to leave the perimeter to find them. They are hidden in open public places, not inside tents, workshop or stage areas.

What is Geocaching?

We’ll be explaining how geocaching works to everyone at 12:30pm in Workshop 3 on Saturday, but don’t worry if you miss it, you can follow our handy guide here, and watch this Intro to Geocaching video.

Below, you can find the coordinates of the caches we have hidden around the campsite. Simply enter the coordinates into Google Maps to bring up the location of each cache and off you go! If you get stuck, you can also reveal a clue for each cache’s whereabouts.

Once you’ve located a cache, sign the logbook and take a sticker! Collect all stickers and win a prize from the Geocaching base.
